Mula Me Time in Iceland

Come join us for a weekend of relaxation and cleansing for the mind, body and soul. Be hosted in the Mula Lodge, complete with a fireplace, modern rooms and an outdoor spa, on the banks of the salmon river Þverá in Borgarfjörður. Retreats run throughout the winter, approximately once a month, and have a limited capacity of 10 people per event. Check out our instagram account for photos @metimeiceland.

We’re offering a getaway filled with hatha and yin yoga, vinyasa flow, meditation walks and mindfulness exercises. All classes taught accommodate all levels from beginner to advanced, by certified yoga teachers. Attendance to any event is optional, with private rooms and ensuite bathrooms given to each guest for their privacy and comfort.

The lodge is fully catered, with all vegan meals included in the retreat price for the weekend (dinner day 1, breakfast lunch and dinner day 2, breakfast and lunch day 3). Food served is 100% vegan, with a focus on nurturing our bodies together thru a healthy diet. The use of smartphones, computers and wifi is restricted (within your bedroom) to allow us to fully disconnect. We are also happy to babysit your gadgets if you´d prefer to turn them off completely.

Yoga allows you to find an inner peace that is not ruffled and riled by the endless stresses and struggles of life.

Me Time was founded by three friends and certified yoga teachers, Þorgerður, Guðny and Katrín. They met over 8 years ago working together seasonally in the Borgarnes countryside, at the Fishing lodge Þverá during the summer season. With all three women having roots in Iceland and a passion for yoga, they realised this beautiful lodge was the perfect space to connect to Icelandic nature and the winter season while practicing yoga and meditation. By disconnecting from the hustle and bustle of Reykjavik and getting out into the countryside for some “Me Time,” the otherwise empty lodge has now found a new winter life: hosting weekend retreats for people of all ages and abilities. The time spent at the lodge is complemented by a healthy cleanse: all the vegan-friendly meals are cooked by chef-in-training Þorgerður, and the whole getaway remains alcohol, caffeine and cell-phone free!
